adjective is used to answer :
- how many
- what kind
- which one
- what colour and
- what size
positive | comparative | superlative | |
One syllable | high | higher | highest |
Two syllable | handsome | More handsome | Most handsome |
Three syllable | beautiful | More beautiful | Most beautiful |
Irregular | good | better | best |
J we use more with two and three syllable comparative adjective
For example : He is more handsome than his friend.
Not
He is handsomer than his friend.
J we use most with two and three syllable superlative adjective
For example : She is the most beautiful girl in the class.
Not
She is the beautifulest girl the class.
